When registering to any of our schemes or programme online via this website, you will be required to provide us with information such as your name, address, age, gender, and identity card number.

This Privacy Notice sets out how Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional Berhad (“PUNB”) will handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) and the laws of Malaysia.

In order to enable us to provide you with our services, we may need to and/or may be required to collect, use, disclose and store (i.e. “process”) your personal data including but not limited to your name, NRIC number, correspondence address, email address, occupation, contact details, and such other necessary information regarding yourself and your transaction(s) with us.

We may obtain this data from you and from a variety of sources, including but not limited to:

through your relationship with us, for example information provided by you in application forms, agreements you enter into with us, when applying for our services;
through your verbal and written communications with us; or
from such other sources in respect of which you have given your consent to disclose information relating to you and/or where not otherwise restricted.

Disclosure Of Your Personal Data

As a part of providing you with our services and the management and/or operation of the same, we may be required or need to disclose information about you and/or your account(s)/facility(ies) with us as to the following third parties:

companies and/or organisations that act as our agents and/or professional advisers;

subject at all time to any laws, (including regulations, guidelines and/or obligations) applicable to PUNB (whether in or outside Malaysia).

where required or authorized by any order of the court, tribunal or authority, whether governmental or quasi-governmental with jurisdiction over PUNB;

Exercising Your Choice In Respect Of The Disclosure And Use Of Your Personal Information For Purposes Of Marketing

However, please note that we will only disclose your personal information to our strategic partners where your prior consent has been obtained and subject at all times to any laws (including regulations, guidelines and/or obligations) applicable to PUNB. What If Personal Data Provided By You Is Incomplete?

It may be obligatory for you in some instances to provide certain personal information to enable us to process your application or provide you with our services. If you are unable to or decline to provide such obligatory personal information, we may not be able to process your application or provide you with the said services.

Your Rights To Access And Correct Your Personal Data

You have the right to access, or request that we correct your personal data as held by us. Please note that in certain circumstances we may have to withhold access to your personal information. Nevertheless, we will notify you of the reasons for not being able to accede to your request.
